Itinerary
1 Mahendranagar / Dhangadhi → Attariya → Doti Jhigrana (2,300m)
- Drive by private jeep to Jhigrana via Dadeldhura.
- Visit Ugratara Temple (Dadeldhura) and Saileshwari Temple (Doti) en route.
- Dinner & overnight at Jhigrana homestay.
2 Jhigrana → Bichpani → Khaptad Triveni (3,010m) — 17 km
- Breakfast, then a 7+ hour trek (about 17 km) to Khaptad National Park.
- Lunch at Bichpani, then continue to the Khaptad camping site.
- Dinner & overnight at Khaptad tea house.
3 Khaptad National Park
- Early morning yoga & meditation.
- Full-day exploration of the View Tower, Khaptad Baba Ashram, Khaptad Daha and Saharsling (3,300m) / Nagdhunga.
- Overnight at Khaptad tea house.
4 Khaptad plateau & Triveni
- Continue exploring the open patans and sacred Triveni Ganga.
- Meadows rich in flora and birdlife.
- Overnight at Khaptad tea house.
5 Khaptad → Jhigrana
- Breakfast and a 7+ hour trek back down to Jhigrana.
- Dinner & overnight at Jhigrana homestay.
6 Jhigrana → Dhangadhi / Mahendranagar
- Breakfast and early drive out, visiting Bhageshwar and Salmuni darshan.
- Lunch and drive from Dipayal-Silgadhi (Doti) back to Kailali / Mahendranagar.
- Trip ends.
