Overview

A 7-night overland circuit on the MAP plan by private vehicle — Mahendranagar to Lumbini, Pokhara, Jomsom/Muktinath, Kathmandu and Bhaluwang, covering Buddha’s birthplace, the sacred Muktinath temple and Kathmandu’s spiritual sights.

Itinerary

  • Pickup from Mahendranagar and drive to Lumbini via the Terai highway (~400 km, 10-11 hrs).
  • Check in and relax. Dinner included (MAP).
  • Overnight in Lumbini.
  • Visit Maya Devi Temple, Ashoka Pillar, Sacred Pond and World Peace Pagoda.
  • Scenic drive to Pokhara (~200 km, 6–7 hrs).
  • Overnight in Pokhara.
  • Drive through the Kali Gandaki valley past Tatopani and Marpha (~170 km, 7–8 hrs).
  • Check in at the Jomsom / Muktinath region.
  • Overnight in Jomsom / Muktinath.
  • Early morning holy darshan at Muktinath Temple (108 spouts & eternal flame).
  • Drive back down to Pokhara.
  • Evening free at Lakeside. Overnight in Pokhara.
  • Optional Sarangkot sunrise; visit Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave and Phewa Lake.
  • Drive to Kathmandu via the Prithvi Highway (~200 km, 6–7 hrs).
  • Overnight in Kathmandu.
  • Pashupatinath Temple, Guhyeshwari, Swayambhunath and Budhanilkantha.
  • Evening free for shopping in Thamel.
  • Overnight in Kathmandu.
  • Drive west to Bhaluwang, Dang (~390 km, 8–9 hrs).
  • Check in and relax. Overnight in Bhaluwang.
  • Breakfast, then drive to Mahendranagar (~240 km, ~5 hrs).
  • Drop-off at border / designated point. Tour ends.

Cancellation Policy

15 days or more before departure Free — booking amount held as travel credit
7–14 days before departure 25% of the total trip cost
3–6 days before departure 50% of the total trip cost
Within 48 hours or no-show 100% — non-refundable
  • A free date change is allowed once if requested 7 or more days before departure, subject to availability.
  • The booking amount is credited to your Payla profile as a credit note with no expiry and can be used on any future trip.
  • Any taxes or payment-gateway charges on a transaction are non-refundable.
  • Pending refunds are processed within 5–7 working days to the original payment method.

Payment Policy

  • A 25% advance (booking amount) confirms your seats and travel dates.
  • The remaining balance is due before the trip begins — on the pick-up day at the latest.
  • Pay by bank transfer, eSewa, Khalti, PhonePe or cash at our Mahendranagar office.
  • A valid photo ID (citizenship / passport) is required to confirm every booking.
  • Group & custom trips may follow a tailored payment schedule shared at the time of booking.

Prices are per person in NPR; INR and USD are shown for reference and confirmed at the current rate at the time of booking.
